About Us

We live on a working family farm in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We have two daughters (aged 16 & 18) who share our love of animals. Our home dog boarding business has proved a real success and we are constantly looking for new ways to give your dog a real holiday experience. We have a dog home boarding licence number (ABO060) and a separate daycare licence number (ABO104) with Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and are fully insured with Clivertons. Over the last six years we have had experience with a variety of dogs from the youngsters with bags of energy to our more mature borders. Therefore many of our facilities have been tailored to fit your dog's needs, no matter of their age or background. We are proud to say that our team also shares our love for animals and remain dedicated to ensuring your dog has a wonderful stay whilst in our care.

Meet Our Team

Charlotte

I have four Border Collies (Sky 11, Inka 8, Tizzy 10 and Delta 4) who mean the world to me, even if they do drive me crazy sometimes! Although as you can see I am Collie mad, I do have a secret love for Dachshunds! I have been obsessed with dogs all of my life and have been working professionally with them for the last 8 years. I am now fortunate enough to work with them full time, both here at The Dog Den and also as a qualified Canine Behaviourist.

Tracey

I currently have four dogs, Bella and Toffee (both Cocker Spaniels), Pippin (a Yorkshire Terrier) and Rudi (a spaniel cross) who share the house with five humans - not forgetting Gary Barlow the tortoise. I'm a mum to three boys and in my spare time I volunteer for the Cocker and English Springer Spaniel Rescue. I have worked with dogs for the past five years and have a broad experience of both dog handling and welfare.

Emma

I have two Basset Hounds Barry (right) and Betty (left) and they also share my home with Felix the cat. I also foster Jack (a Jack Russell) stopping with me until he finds a permanent home. He's from a local dog rescue where, in my spare time, I volunteer to walk the dogs in need of homes. I've always had dogs since a young age (my first dog being a Golden Retriever). In addition, I have worked with dogs in different roles for 11 years now from owning my own dog walking business to producing doggy accessories!

Dobby

We also have our own Sprollie called Dobby who is full of mischief and entertains our boarders.
